What is it? The picture is so small I couldn't make it out!

Sorry the image didn't come through. It is a picture of a mountain of lumber
stacked outside the Steinway factory.



 

 

 

            This is the link to thousands of Steinway photos and documents.

            The images from the 19th century are to me a fascinating window
to both the Steinway piano and especially the workers.

            There are lot's of photo's of the Steinway's at the mansion ,
but look into the faces of children ,maybe 10 years old working in the
action dept.
