I thought some of you might enjoy seeing the innards of the oldest Bechstein (at least according to what Bechstein tells us), #124 (ca. around 1858)...check out the continuous agraffe in the mid-section (that's new to me, anyway), and the upper plate wooden bridge (w/ pins) in front of the steel pressure bar.
