Aural Tuning- Pianos with High Inharmonicity

So, in the meantime, until his 3 tuitions are paid, what's the aural tuner to do?  Can he apply the Well Temperament aurally?

Tuning ET on small pianos causes them to sound edgy and harsh.


A Well Temperament magically transforms them into a somewhat
sonorous instrument. My preference is Coleman 11 with very little
