Damper felt replacement

Check the damper springs for sufficient tension.  Check the damper  felts are 
flat against the strings. They might look good from the top, but  may be 
tipped a bit.  Pull the neighboring damper back to check  them.  It IS annoying 
that Schaff bass damper sets don't have enough  dampers.  I usually order two 
sets once in a while so I have  extras.  I also have extra strips that I can cut
