In 2000 or 2001 a guy by the name of Tony Court in England said that he made action parts to order. Of course he would need a sample. Not sure if this is his current email address but its a start. Tony_The_Tuner at nationwideisp.net

Subject: Piano parts for pre-1900 German grand

Just ran across a refinished old German grand, with "F. Schmid & Kung" on the plate,
and Schmid, Schuler, Bosendorfer decal on the fallboard. Serial number appears to be 1002.
Anybody making parts for pre-1900 German pianos? This one needs 4 or 5 hammer shanks assemblies, which have a balance pin that rides in a metal bracket. Thanks (If you know of anybody, please email me).
