Shawn, Take a piece of pinblock scrap (you choose which one) and run your jig saw through it, at an angle, and make some turns here and there. My guess is you'll come to the same conclusion most have - go get that bandsaw. To be blunt, if you are anticipating doing more than one pinblock, buy the right tool with which to do it. If you aren't, sub the job out to someone who is doing more pinblocks. Every time I've moved into a new aspect of piano work that requires a specific tool, I figure that's part of the learning curve. I buy the tool, loose money on that first job, and then spend the rest of my time wondering how anyone can live without a "____". You'll regret it when you write the check (maybe), and never again - unless you buy junk, of course ;-] Regards, William R. I ask because I'm not sure I want to put out the money for a good bandsaw at this time. Thanks! -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
