Yes. Of course with the soundboard out it's a snap to put them in. The point of my post was that they can also be installed with the soundboard in. You won't be able to fit it quite like the one you have below into the V and square to the belly rail as maneuvering it into place with the soundboard in is difficult if not impossible. But you can do it in the manner of the one I showed with a simple butt joint against the bent side and with the beam angling slightly toward the center.
