Tuning sequence question

Hi,
I find this statement not to be true for me.
But then with My SATlll I fools it by Measuring A3 {That is usually a reading close to 1 or -1} ( after the FAC program is generated )
Take half the reading of how flat it is and using that reading to set the overpull.
IE. if the A3 is -31 cents flat I would raise the reading to -16 and roll over the 25% button.

If you don't overpull the bass, then you have to tune the bass 2-3 times. It is actually more unstable than the treble due to shelves supporting the bass bridge. Bob
