Hey Alan,

Will scrap metal dealers accept piano plates since it's made of cast
iron? Don't know much about cast.

Joy!

We had a swell bonfire in my backyard one year, then hauled the plate
(broken in several pieces with a sledge) and strings to a scrap dealer.

Hint: Remove and save every screw you can find. You will NEVER see that
level of quality in your local Communist Chinese Slave-labor Nationwide
Mass-merchandising Outlet Store.
