I looked for the glover needles at fabric stores, upholstery and leather outlets. I had no luck so I ordered some from Pianophile. Only after getting the needles I found out that they can destroy hammers. They tear the felt. So I have gone back to the round needles, they take bit more effort to push into the felt but cause no damage. Hello, 1) Wondering why #6 glover needles are recommended for voicing, 2) and why this size is generally not available in the local fabric stores, 3) and if #6 was not available, would it be better to use #5 or #7. 4) What size needle do you use in your single needle voicing tool? Thanks in advance for your response. Lou _____ I am using the free version of SPAMfighter for private users. It has removed 2428 spam emails to date.
