Even old used eyeballs are pretty amazing with a "look again" 
attitude behind them. An alignment jig becomes worthwhile if 
you have a bunch of them to do, but you have to spend whatever 
time is necessary to not make a jig that produces a bunch of 
identically misaligned pins.
