An excellent tuner had to get out of the business in Houston because he couldn't make a living with kids and all. So, he ASKED me if he might recommend me to customers. I don't get this. No one is selling a "business". They are only selling a data base and rather non-assured "hope". Sorry, but this kind of thing bothers me. I guess I was born too early in the last century, and it is time to shoot me and let the moderns take over. les bartlett houston _____ From: pianotech-bounces at ptg.org [mailto:pianotech-bounces at ptg.org] On Behalf Of Brooks & Yumi Sent: Wednesday, August 22, 2007 11:10 PM To: Pianotech Subject: Business for sale - Napa, CA Business for sale in and around Napa, California. On the advice of my physician, chiropractor and others, I am getting out of the piano business (shoulder problems). I've been tuning pianos in Napa since 1989. Terms are negotiable. My idea at this point: Half of what the buyer makes in the first year plus a $5.00 fee for an introductory and scheduling phone call to each client. If a client does not use the buyer - new tuner - there will be no fee. Brooks Weisman RPT brooksw at jps.net No virus found in this incoming message. Checked by AVG Free Edition.
