Hi,

I know a couple of piano rebuilders that looked into purchasing these pianos several years ago- but after seeing them decided that since they are 'do it yourself' projects from the ground up - and there was no guarantee that all the parts were there, and the Aeolian factor - they passed. If it's such a good deal why don't they do it themselves ?!

I came across this odd listing on the Tokyo Craig's list (pianos are in the USA)
For your amusement:

"These pianos are unassembled and have never been built."
"...aging for over 30 years."
