I have a grand that I am replacing the dampers on. Normally it is fairly straight forward. This piano uses the 'stitched' damper pads. On an upright, with the spring pressure, I just use a knitting needle in the groove, to get the centre glued. What is the best way to get the centre glued to the damper head on a grand? John M.
