disabling individual noes

Jim,

Please forgive my lack of imagination, but where do I put the wine 
corks in order to disable the notes in question?  (Did I just set 
myself up by asking that?)  Do they go on the front pins?

Wine corks, even the newer, non-cork corks, cut down to size for height 
and
width, then just remove them when you're done - don't have to remove or 
replace
anything.
