Tunelab Tip & Question

This may be something that every TL user on the planet knew except me, but just in case there is one more unenlightened person out there ...

If you are using auto note switching, very often the top octave or two does not respond well or you have to let everything go silent, then strike the note to trigger the change with a "volume increase event". But I've discovered that if you play the note you want TL to switch to AND the note an octave below that note, TL will usually respond instantly. It apparently is responding to the 2nd partial of the lower note better than the fundamental of the higher one, perhaps in part because the lower note (previously tuned) is closer to the target pitch than the untuned note.

Hope that's clear. It really helps move things along.

Now, question for all who have downloaded the latest TL upgrade: Is it worth the upgrade fee? Why or why not? Is there anything new other than the auto curve adjustment feature?

Thanks for listening/responding.
