insurance for piano business

To all that responded to my question:

This is the first time I have tried the Pianotech email set-up and I really appreciate your prompt responses.  I have talked to different techs and have gotten such mixed reviews that I really did not know which way to go.  But it seems like your answers are pretty consistent that insurance is a good thing.  I have checked out a couple insurance companies for quotes; quite a difference in price.  I will make sure to ask that it is for "small business" insurance.  You are right.  My pocket is only so deep!!

      How important is insurance for your piano business?  Is the need based on full-time vs. part-time business?  The kind of work you do--tuning/regulation vs. restoration at your shop at home?  So far, I have only had one customer ask me re: insurance.
