Working for dealers,I learned from sales people their understanding of Grand
pianos:

1]Under 5'-Petit Grands [Remember Kimballs??}

2]5'-6'-Baby grands in 3 subdivisions;

A]5'-5'5"-Small Baby Grand [Like Steinwai S]

B]5'6" to 5'9"-Medium Baby Grands [Like Steinway M-Medium]

C]5'10"-5 11'3/4"-Large Baby Grands

3]6'-7'-Parlor Grands

4]7'-8'-Auditorium Grands

5]9' ++-Concert Grands or Stage Grands or Mac Trucks

Hope,it helps. Happy weekend..Greetings from sunny Los Angeles Isaac

FWIW, I believe Reblitz lists anything under 5' 8" as a baby grand.
