Steve, I guess you have had enough advice, but that does not inhibit me.

In addition to suggesting that you stay with aural tuning for a long time, I also suggest that you join PTG and find some friends and mentors.  There are things about tuning that can best be learned through "absorption."  Reading and explaining is no equal to just standing there with a real master tuner at work.

If you've been following Sam's thread (Stupid Newbee!!!), you can see he hit paydirt at his first meeting.
