Stupid newbee!!! Stupid! Stupid! The sad face was more to do with me forgetting, what I had used. I seem to be misrmembering stuff, a lot more than I used to. John M. Stupid! Why the sad face? Every time I have used plugs, I have used epoxy. Just seems to me that if you are working with an old block, epoxy seeping around, filling voids, cracks, and delaminating areas perhaps has more potential for a very strong end product. Makes me sleep better anyway. YMMV. Terry Farrell ----- Original Message ----- I don't know, why I said epoxy, as any time I have used plugs, I used glue. :-( John M. Ross Windsor, Nova Scotia, Canada. jrpiano at win.eastlink.ca ----- Original Message ----- Someone mentioned setting the plug in with epoxy, so it bears pointing out that the tight fit suggested below would be for a glue joint. If you are using epoxy (like West System - I usually use it unthickened), you want to make the hole slightly larger than the plug. Terry Farrell ----- Original Message ----- >Drill out 31/32" hole to insert a Ready Made Plug from Pin Block Material I'd make that a 31/64" hole for the 32/64 (1/2") plug, metric would be so much easier.
