I think the formula should be the other way around...90% alcohol and 10% water...aren't you getting really loose centers?

          Really? I have used 10% isopropyl to 90% water to shrink bushings on jacks and hammers. It worked for me.
 
         Thank you for clarifying the specific types of alcohol!  It was desparately needed anmd greatly appreciated!
