Re: Listers at RochesterOh, yes, and I think honour Andy is a definitely, long overdue thing. So good idea David. John M. But I asked the same question last year concerning the convention at KC and received a pretty fast, curt "no," which is why I'm very glad YOU asked the question this time! It really wouldn't take much, would it...between sessions, for example? Looking forward to seeing you again, John...and many, many others! Stan Ryberg Oh dear listers----It was real satisfying for me personally to meet some of you in Nayshville---Stan, Cy Shuster, Nossaman, Ric Moody, Patrick Draine, Ed Foote, Carl Meyer(RIP), Hazen Bannister(alumni), David Vanderhoofven---and maybe more. My pleasure. If we really believe our own advice---about relationships being a key to success in our business---then there should be no question we get together. It seems like I'm teaching 2 classes in Rochester: 1.. "Custom Restoration: the difference, point by point" 2.. one of Rajah Jolly's marathon small-group tutors...if the old pirate ever calls me up, that is. So maybe I have some juice with Rick Florence, the Institute Director, to give us a room and some pub; he's been nothing but nice, honest, creative and incredibly helpful. The Journal guys look at us all the time and use a lot of our dialogue in the mag; they realize, at least on some level, what a tremendous resource and community this list is. Let's use some of this fame and respect as a lever---evah hoid a' one a' those?---to have a party and do one deeply important thing: HONOR ANDY RUDOFF AND, all those past listers, living and dead, who have given so much themselves over the years. Let's be self-respecting adults about this, OK? Flame suit on, but hopefully a paranoid un-necessity..... David Andersen -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
