Actually, it IS called "Lang Lang: Live at Seiji Ozawa Hall, Tanglewood" on iTunes. From TelArc, the album costs about $18; from Amazon, $14 and change; from iTunes, $9.99 to download the whole thing. iTunes url attached. I'm always glad to see our craft represented like this for the public's edification. Also, from time to time, piano technicians are given credit on album liners - which I think should be more prevalent. In fact, I saw Barbara Renner (subject of article 1)shown and named on one CD recently, I think it was a McCoy Tyner album. Too cool. Chuck Christus, RPT Thanks from me, too, Jack...ever since I heard the first Lang Lang record ("Live at Seiji Ozawa Hall" on Telarc records) I've wondered who and where Barbara Pease Renner was. She and her husband, Jack, a recording engineer, made what I feel is one of the best sounding solo acoustic piano records ever.....it's great to fill in her story. What a great piano technician. Does anybody know if she's ever been in the PTG? Listen to that record, kids.....what a sound..... David Andersen -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
