Last week I bought a 7mm brass bore brush to clean out the tuning pin holes of a Steinway grand that had 3 (0) pins that are needing replacing because of not being tight enough. No, it will not be getting a new pin block. Has anyone used the 7mm ( around 0.285) bore brush before and does it do a good job of cleaning the original holes to help avoid pin jumping with the new pins?
