Regarding 'Perfect pitch'. I have always referred to it as 'Relative Pitch'
as it is just that. The one thing that amazes me is that those who claim to
have it, can pick a note, say 'E' when the piano is indeed up to a half semi
tone flat. How does that compute? String players are the most accurate when
picking notes played, but, to be able to tell that say, 'C' is vibrating at
523.3 beats per second, I don't think so.
