You've got to know aural tuning to get your RPT; that's why I went to North Bennet Street. Modern ETDs with microphones that measure each individual piano are light-years away from the Strobo-Tuners of the past. I use TuneLab for pitch-raising (one pass, every time), and then fine-tune by ear. All the recent discussion of estimating pitch raise percents aurally shows the worth of a good ETD.
