Charge full price. DIscounts can be offered as work load/need permits. If you weren't tuning that piano, you'd be tuning another at full price. Discounts go to good, established clients. Not free-bees for a trial period. Besides, a one month trial period (two tunings) is too short. 30 years ago a restaurant wanted their piano tuned once per week. I told them $20 (full price at the time). They balked a little but agreed. Another place wanted a discount because they wanted a tuning once per month. I asked how much discount would I get if I ate lunch there once a month. -- Regards, Jon Page
