Dave, Hmm. Well, I guess someone did use felt there. Thanks. I'll take a closer look at this to see if I can tell what the real story is. If I can make it work with what is already there, I will. As David Ilvedson pointed out, the thought of having to clean out every speck of glue residue/whatever isn't appealing--not that I mind doing the work, but it would make an already big job (financially, for my friend) an even bigger job.
