I almost did that yesterday, but I realized that a. the piano had to =
have its cover put back on, and b. the people renting the facility might =
frown on the card being there. I like that idea however rather than =
sticking a gooy sticker on the piano. The pinblock, who looks inside =
the piano for a piano tuner's name. I found someon had written on the =
plate of one my practice pianos from back in 1972. Another guy put a =
sticky label on the pinblock from 1994 on a Gorden Lougher spinit. No =
wonder that piano sounded so bad. It had two strikes agaist it, spinit, =
and hasn't been tuned in ages. Have agood one.

I like to leave my business card on the music desk. Often I find it =
still there the next time I tune.=20

  Hi everyone,

Speaking of contact information. What do you guys do in order to keep =
yoru name in front of your customers when you tune? Do you put your name =
on the pin block, stick a little address lable on the piano like one guy =
I know does? I mean do people really open up the piano to find out who =
tuned it?

I bought a case of Cory Key-Brite with my logo/info on them and give =
a bottle to each new customer to keep next to their piano. Some do, =
some don't but they've always got my contact information. I even had =
one person who was NOT a customer call me for a bottle which she had =
seen at her friend's house; now she's a customer too.
