In fact, I was going to run errands = with my wife, but I got her to take our son so I could have some peace = and quiet to tune her piano. The new lever is working out great. I = also purchased two real tiny thin rubber mutes that work great in the = trebble. I'm not sure how long it took because I got interupted by = phone calls, but I didn't get quite the whole trebble finished and I = didn' t finish below c 3, but what I did finish i did in less than or = about 2 hours. I'm finding that the new lever doesn't have to be = repositioned on the pin like that crappy student lever I have, plus that = little skinny mute isn't gettin gthe way of the hammer in the trebble. = Yes there's hope guys, Marshall is picking up speed!!!! GO SPEED TUNER , = GO SPEED TUNER GO!!!!=20 Marshall ----- Original Message -----=20 From: Marcel Carey=20 To: 'Pianotech'=20 Sent: Saturday, January 07, 2006 9:52 AM Subject: RE : electronic pitch source Hi Marshall, The TuneLab program on a Pocket PC can give you a whole tuning. The = one thing that RicB might have forgotten is that you are visually = impaired. I don't know about your exact situation, but the pocket PC = might not work for you (depending). If you really want to hone your = skills, just stick with the tuning fork for now. You will never regret = it. Just practice.
