I just got a call this morning from a lady who wants me to look at her piano. From her description, I gather that we've got some broken hammers, sticking keys and other action problems. She tells me that the piano is an Alexander Pohl and that it has less than 88 keys. She says it's a very pretty upright, very heavy and ornate. Sounds like I'll be doing some extensive action work. Any information on this piano? I looked up POHL in the Atlas and in the the Piano Book, but only found the name. No information. Just thought since it had less than 88 keys that there may be some other 'oddities' that I need to be aware of before I show up next Saturday. Thanks in advance for the help and for all the help I get without ya'll even knowing it just from reading this list. Joey Recker "On Key" Piano Tuning Plains, GA
