I'm not up to 100 pianos yet, but I've preacticed numerous times techniques not full tunings, plus full tunings. I notice I'm starting to pick up the speed. I'm also working hard on quality, and when the woman at the nursing home said that the piano sounded louder after I tuned it, I was pretty excited about that especially knowing that it was a spinit, Acrosonic.

In the beginning...2--2 /2 hours. That was after practing on dozens and gaining confidance. hundreds of pianos later...approx 1 hour, if its one I tune regular. If not,
1 1/4 -- 2 hours with pitch raise, and double check.

Hi Amy,
How new are you at piano tuning? I'm new as well. How long does it takeyou to tune a piano? I'm curious if everyone out there started out slow like me. I'm curious to know if on-line is the only place where I can purchase a portable vacuum.
