Our own pianos

Neat question!

I have a P-22 for dependable practice instrument.

An Ellington grand, rescued from the dump and with many experiments (epoxy soundboard repair, Wapin bridge pins, lead weights on the long bridge, rescaled with Arledge bass strings, action with new Abel hammers and currently getting some geometry refinements in addition to strike and front weight continuities...now I'm thinking of adding a cut-off bar and fish, belly rail reinforcement and some sort of rim bracing or weights. It is sounding better all the time.)

A 52" Mathusek vertical with all original parts awaits restoration.

Also a harpsichord and clavichord which sit sadly awaiting interest as that time of my life drifts into the past.
