Hi Ric, In response to your last paragraph, I happen to have a recording of a concert a friend did over at Cunningham piano (Phila, PA) on a model 217 or 225 (not sure which one). He'd probably beat me if I posted it for people to listen to, but I could post a short clip for anyone thinking a Bosendorfer is light on power and it may encourage them to re-think. It was just a casual recording from a reasonable distance (good equipment though), but there is no doubt that it has some "guts". - John > btw.. I service a brand new 225 Bosie. Ok... its in a smaller > room, but then I've been at pianos for long enough to hear through > and make a good judgement as to how the thing would do in a concert > hall. It do just as well as any C I've ever heard me thinks. > > Cheers > RicB
