And if any action work is called for, be prepared for rocker capstans to regulate hammer height.  
 
I tune one of them that's been partially restored....beautiful sounding instrument, despite a bevy of false-beating at the high treble.

   Yes!  they are.  The plate is bad about 
breaking on old Bechsteins, especially 
near the pins,              
 
   I service and repair  many old pianos
I always have my customers sign a 
disclaimer concerning this problem.
