Hi Terry,
I believe there is none as there is a chemical reaction with the brass =
and animal oils in the leather.

Subject: Leather Key Bushings & Brass Key Pins

I've been told that use of leather key bushings on an action frame =
equipped with brass key pins (all brass or brass core with the plating =
worn through) will tend to produce some sort of verdigris-like reaction =
and cause problems. Has anyone else run into this phenomena? Anyone know =
of any way around the problem short of either felt bushings or key pin =
replacement?
