This is a multi-part message in MIME format. ---------------------- multipart/alternative attachment Hi Lists, =20 Looked at an old W. Danemannn & Co. (London) upright last evening and = I'm trying to determine it's age. I can find NO serial number = anywhere....=20 Pierce shows them dating from 1893 and I think this one may be one of = the very early ones. =20 The Case is a very well preserved burl walnut, or some such ilk. It is = over strung and the keys are of the rocker-arm type. It has two pedals. =20 The cheek blocks and key slip are/were glued in place...no screws. It = has a =BE plate. =20 Have any of you run into one of these, especially our brethren from = across the pond ;-) ? =20 Where else might one look for a S/N ? =20 =20 Paul E.
