David: I have an old Schomacker grand that I will begin working on next year in my shop. It was given to me by the Napa Women's Club and had been in their building since the mid 1940's. Someone at a PTG Convention told me it has gold-plated strings...only the second time I've heard this. Collaboration on this might prove useful... Keep in contact...
