Some could be fixed by glue-sizing, but 28 needed a kerfs cut and veneer inserted. Whenever I've done this before I've just placed the kerf by hand and it generally worked ok. This time I figured a way to put the kerf in exactly the right spot. I put the key in the vice and inserted a balance rail pin and held it firmly to the back of the hole. I then put the saw right against the pin and started the cut. Each of these came out exactly right with no chucking and the keys lined up perfectly. =20 I'm probably the last one in the world to discover this, but it worked! =20 =20 dp __________________________ David M.
