The sales tax laws can be incredibly complex.  In Minnesota, labor isn't =
taxed, unless it's the installation of a new part (not a replacement), =
in which case the labor and part are both taxable.

  This raises another thought. In states like mine, where parts are =
taxed but labor is not, I'd rather charge a goodly fee for the =
installation and cut the margin on the parts (big "parts" like DC =
systems). It makes the whole package legally cheaper for the customer.
