Guy, Noise hunters,
 
Unrelated to the specific topic of Baldwin noises, of which a plethora is  
being uncovered.
 
This one's a subject unto itself...this noise used to drive me crazy,  
especially in 20 year old gray market Yamahas.  I don't what exactly is  creating 
the noise, but after being driven crazy by these clicks, tightening and  lubing 
everything I could think of, I finally proteked the wire/strap  connection.  
Voila, away it went.  Then I found that all I had to do  was yank down on them 
a bit and the noise disappeared!
