---------------------- multipart/alternative attachment Fran, To add to John Ross' info on Canadian Williams pianos, there was also a Williams & Sons piano manufactured in Chicago...the upright sitting right behind me at the moment was purchased in 1913 by my grandfather, a country preacher then in a little town in central Illinois. Generally, they were high quality pianos...on the expensive side...and I've seen only a handful of them across the country. Not much information to be had...check Jack Greenfield's book on piano manufacturing in the midwest.
