OK Joe,
so maybe the climate conditions kept pushing it up and up because for=20
instance the humidity is/was stronger than the dry season.
Sure, why not?
On the other hand, here in Holland all piano's go down by themselves.
Most tuners refuse to raise pitch for fear of having to come back, so=20
they hardly ever bring a piano to where it should be at least, which is=20=

440 Hz.
I still stick to my opinion that in the end, a piano will lose its=20
tension gradually over time.
That's why I specified the conditions for a piano, being on the north=20
pole, where there are no serious changes in humidity.
That piano will definitely go down in pitch, just like all every thing=20=

and every person will lose its elasticity and power.
Perpetuem mobiles do not exist, yet.
