Leather Key Bushings

Interesting that this comes up just now, as I am wrestling myself with 
the need to rebush a set of keys (Steinway B) that have been previously 
rebushed with leather. My best recommendation? Don't do it. I don't 
know if this B was done with inappropriate material; this is possible; 
but they sure are loose.
