Hi,Alan! I'm the one who gave you a ride at the California Convention from the hotel to the convention site in my van.
#37 drill is NUMERIC..For drilling out bushing cloth to prevent flanges from splitting it helps to grind it to a sharper-smaller point ,conical shape for easier penetration.Buy 2 drills,re-shape one and try to drill  and see for yourself,conically shaped one will be a winner.. Good Luck! Isaac

Question: They say to use a #37 drill bit when cleaning out action center cloth from flanges, etc. What the heck is a #37 bit? Is it the "wire size " 37 shown on the chart above?
