Thanks for the heads up on the fluorescent bulbs.  Taking the holiday so I

Has a button link for energy star rated bulbs.
Seems that ballasts are a lot more efficient these days.  Have at it.  The 
bulbs are a smaller part of the energy bill.  Efficient appliances  and 
good maintenance go a long ways.
