Hello Hubert -
For that you really need a l.o.o.o.n.g pair of ball bearing tweezers. =
Haven't got a pair? Just drill a hole in the end of one of the 6" =
tweezer tines - then you've got one.:-)
I once extracted a large ball bearing under the plate of a school's S&S =
"A" with one of those long (24") flexible three-prong plunger-grabber =
whotsits. Another useful tool. Life's not complete without a whotsit or =
two. ;-)

    Hello all,
Got in the shop early this morning and read most of the posting from =
Thursday to present. I left the shop for my first tuning customer. While =
tuning the piano I drop a rubber mute into the action between the =
hammers and dampers. Having remember all of the posting regarding Papps =
mute I thought you may interested that I use my, as tweezers to =
retrieved my rubber mutes when I drop them into the action.=20
