Damper stop rail, was: Funny noise

Remember that when you have a damper stop rail that is too high that
you should also adjust the pedal rod stop. On Yamahas, this is a
capstan under the keybed. Just playing notes usually won't raise the
stop rail, but if the pedal travels too far, it will put a lot of
force to the stop rail and will raise it up even if you thighten it
snuggly.
