bottom covers revisited

Hi all,

I'm revising my suggested directions for the velcro tabs on Damppchaser
Bottom covers.

Use four light weight paper staples for attaching each velcro tab to the
cloth making a "square".

I've toyed with the idea of a small hand held sewing machine but so far
have not tried this. Has anyone done this successfully? (and quickly?)

Use TWO industrial staples to attach the velcro tabs to the wooden parts of
the piano, one at each end of the tab. I've come back to some earlier
installs and found that the glue on the velcro has dried out--so all that
is holding the cover on were a single staple per tab.
