>pianotech archives?

As someone already pointed out, the Google search engine is far
superior to the freeware we use on ptg.org (because Google has
paid engineers working on making it work well and the software
we use was written in someone's spare time).

On any Google search, you can limit the results to the ptg.org
web site by adding "site:ptg.org" to the list of keywords you enter.
Although that will find any matching pages on ptg.org, the pianotech
archives are the largest part of the ptg.org web site so you'll
be searching them using Google's more advanced matching.

Note that there's no limit on the number of hits the pianotech
search will show you, but the buttons across the bottom of the page
do not lead you to the higher-numbered pages. This is a bug in the
search software we're currently using. But if you click through a
few pages, you'll notice the URL in your browser window ends with
something like "page=2". Change that number to whatever you want
and you will view that page of the results. Sorry about that -- I'll
look to see if that bug is fixed and hopefully the results page can
be a little friendlier at some point in the future...
